You will be able to sneak behind enemy lines and capture the points easily. I like this game mode because of the smaller number of players. If you’ve ever played Call of Duty: Modern Warfare’s Ground War game mode, where it’s just total mayhem, Cold War’s take on it is far smaller and more confined. Combine Arms is a more confined and refined Ground War. I found that if one person in your team of six plays a sniper, it would be extremely helpful to flush out the enemy or spot them so the information can be relayed to the other members. I enjoyed this game mode because it requires maximum coordination.

What I mean by slower, it’s harder to kill people. Multiplayer gameplay feels refined but slow. While the singleplayer storyline will offer a unique choose your path element, which leads to multiple endings, the multiplayer mode is what we’re all looking forward to, and I got a chance to play it for three hours. Rejoice first-person shooter fans, Activision is all prepped to release another entry into the Call of Duty series, and they are taking us back to the Cold War era.Ĭall of Duty: Cold War is a sequel to Call of Duty: Black Ops and will see familiar faces return to the franchise.
